The answer would be no we didn't put in new cabinets, we didn't put in new counter-tops, we didn't even hang new artwork...The amazing answer is that we picked (with a stagers eye to colors that work) an engaging new wall color to make a kitchen Pop! It's a tough decision to make. Beautiful wallpaper professionally hung and in perfect condition. We often face this dilemma as we review options with our clients. It is expensive to remove wallpaper and often painful for the home-seller...I would say however that it is almost always the correct decision.
This kitchen was in a beautiful condo that we staged in Cincinnati. We have been home stagers in Cincinnati since 2004. I have found one of the most important aspects of running like a "well-oiled machine" is to stay on top of our toolbox inventory. In the past I would inevitability find us running out of a critical light-bulb or picture hanger as we were wrapping up a job miles from the local hardware store. We have gotten disciplined and make sure that we check our toolbox supplies at the end of each week to insure that the needed tools are always available.
