When I first came to Alaska I was completely amazed by the flowers. You just don’t think Alaska and flowers together. Most people imagine cold and snow and ice when they think Alaska so when they come here and see the flowers everywhere it is stunning and surprising!
After winter is gone or melting and the days grow longer Alaskans turn out to enjoy every moment of summer. You never know for sure when the warm days will start. We usually have winter at least thru April and I have seen snow in the flower … (36 comments)
