On Friday afternoon, we were hit with a tremendously powerful thunderstorm all across the state of Connecticut. There were many areas of the state that were heavily damaged from the heavy winds and torrential downpours. Power lines went down, people and businesses lost power. trees fell into homes and there were many areas that were heavily flooded. In its aftermath, the sun broke through and I just happened to look out my window and saw a glow in the sky and grabbed my camera to take these photos.. Mother Nature may have dealt us a heavy blow for a few hours … (7 comments)
