holiday season: The Connecticut Food Bank Needs Your Help For Thanksgiving!
- 11/23/08 02:11 PM
Next week is Thanksgiving and it is a time for giving thanks and to reach out and help the needy and less fortunate. Last year the Connecticut Food Bank distributed more than 25,000 turkeys and over 500,000 lbs. of trimmings to help those in need. This year once again The Connecticut Food Bank needs your help for Thanksgiving! So far this year 16,030 turkeys have been collected with less than a week to go before Thanksgiving Day. I will be donating a turkey and canned goods to my local Connecticut Food Bank distribution center and ask that you too help those (8 comments)
