Blooms A Poppin in Prospect CT Spring is starting to show signs of its presence here in Prospect, CT and a welcome sight it is. I was walking up the driveway and took a look at the front yard and the blossoms that are displayed. It made me smile for its depth of color and it was mainly the daffodils. Even the hyacinths that were barely showing a week ago, were standing high. Closer to the driveway, where I had a tree removed, the daffodils are filling in nicely. Our April Showers Start the Parade of Colors The adage has always been April Showers bring on May Flowers. While it may have been true once, with the environmental changes across the globe, the consistency is seldom there. I look at the onset of rain in April as the tears of joy flowing for the end of the drab and cold and the onset of the colors that bring smiles and a far better sense of euphoria.
