Were stagers, we hammer, screw and display lots of different forms of art on the walls of our clients. We do make it look picture perfect! A long time ago I wrote about this but I recently had an experience I want to share with everyone. Every time I do a contract for a staging I make sure I word that the Property will be staged until it sells or client gives a15 day notice. Im writing this refering to the South Florida Home Stagers situation. When I first started Staging a bit shy of 3 years ago, clients would call ask for quote and then staged with us. I have noticed that has changed drastically during the past year in my market. Now clients are getting 3-4 quotes for stagings , they take the lowest one and have another stager see it and they ask to improve it to give them the job. I had the pleasure of working with a family that is selling their own property. Prior to my staging I gave them a list of to do things. They only complied with half of the list. One of the most important things on that list was cleaning all windows..I meant Q-Tip clean. Something that really needed to be done.

Mr XYZ was so excited on the planning the staging of his gated senior community 2 bedroom ,2 bathroom townhouse . His mother an law who previously lived there passed away. The property looked great on the outside... but inside it was like going back in time to a wall paper world. The space had great potential. to remove all walllpaper and paint in a real estate taupe. How many open houses have you had? I asked my client ,also a friend. Well, we have had an open house every weekend for the past 6 months and people walk-in and walk out in less than 10 minutes. Sometimes we are asked to go and give a Staging Bid on a vacant and you bump into an area that even the owner has no clue what to do with it. This 27 story Condo has gorgeous views of the Intercoastal and beautiful Singer Island. The floorplan is very open and this area is next to the living and Dining area.

I recently meet with a RE Agent that told me he does not believe in Staging. He then added that he is a de-clutter fanatic, so when he gets a listing he helps them de-clutter and even reposition furniture. I looked very surprised when he said that and asked me What?
