On the morning of this seminar, last Thursday, I overslept. Quickly, I jumped into the shower, made myself a cup of coffee to go and jumped into my car and got going. It was 7:20am. I had planned to leave for the event, at 6:30am. The trip is mostly highway, so, I wasn't concerned too much about the time. The event was held in Stamford, Ct.

During this current economy, everyone is trying to cut back and save monies. When I have potential clients or clients, that ask to cut my fee, this is what I explain to them.

Most of my clients come to me as referrals. I do treat the with the same skills and procedures that I would, as if they came to me on their own. They are provided a package of forms, marketing samples and banking information. At my first meeting with them, I explain the relationship that I will be offering them and then ask them if they have any questions.
The questions range from pre-approval's for buyers to staging for sellers. Questions answered upfront, make it easier to work along side people and know their expectations. I love when clients ask me questions!

In this economy, we are all trying to cut our costs. While cutting costs is good for the budget, it can impact your business marketing. If anything is cut out of my budget, it is not the marketing monies. Selling that property needs exposure and skills.
Here ia an idea that works well, yet, the cost is within reason. Aside from the internet, where Free is always possible, there are other things that work well and the cost is low.

This is a good greeting to use, when you walk into your home. It lets those who are home, know that you have arrived. Whether it be your spouse, friend, children or pet. This greeting always makes me smile, because I remember my parents using it, so many years ago. They have both passed.
