With all the horrible, negative news about Real Estate and the Housing Industry throughout the U.S. it was a sign of good things about our local market here in Gainesville. The statistics used were compiled from The Florida Assocation of Realtors and represent data from the "Gainesville Metropolitan Statistical Area of Alachua and Gilchrist Counties. (Gainesville MSA). Statewide sales were down 38% for the year and the median Price dropped 9% $243,000 to $ 221,200Gainesville MSA sales were down ONLY 21% for the (2 comments)
