Pay It Forward and Support Your Local
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children

I support CASA of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, West Virginia.  Since this program became fully operational in 2004, 25 CASA volunteers have advocated for 167 local abused and neglected children.  There have been 105 children placed in permanent and stable homes. This could not have been possible without the support CASA receives.

When foster children are bounced around, they can end up feeling homeless. Having their lives repeatedly uprooted leaves these children feeling alone and unwanted. YOU can ensure they'll … (3 comments)

lewisburg west virginia: The Last Four Days Have Been a Whirlwind - 07/08/09 04:00 PM
Since July 4th real estate for me has been somewhat of a whirlwind. Here's a summation of the whirlwind.....
On Saturday, July 4th, I wrote a contract for a sweet 65 year old lady.  She wanted to buy this mini farm in Crawley, WV, that I have listed.  I informed her that there would be a lot of maintenance for this property, and may be too much for her to handle.  But, she said the Lord would be helping her.  The contract was contingent on her selling her South Carolina property.
BTW, like most sweet old ladies....she will talk your ear off..and she did....It took … (10 comments)

I was sitting at my desk reading some blog posts, when my dog, Zeke, brings his toy and wants to play.   I looked out my office window  and  said "Okay, lets go play".....and out the door we went.
Oh, I always love it when it starts to snow.  Everything is covered with a white blanket.  It is so beautiful and serene.  I watched Zeke play in the snow and looked around at how quite and … (9 comments)
