The United Way of Greenbrier County "Holiday by Design" fundraiser was held December 7th as part of the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours hosted by the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau located in downtown Lewisburg, WV. 
 
The event was from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM with hors d'oeuvres, drinks, live music, and a chance to bid on your favorite Christmas tree for the United Way of Greenbrier County "Holiday by Design" fundraiser.  Area businesses, schools, nonprofits and civic organizations participated in this fundraiser.

      The Greenbrier Valley  Visitors Center officially opened on July 22, 2010.  The new facility, located at 200 W. Washington Street in downtown Lewisburg, provides regional information for Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe and Summers Counties. 
 
 
 
 
An official ribbon-cutting will take place on Tuesday, September 7th at 11:00 a.m. with Congressman Nick Rahall present. Congressman Rahall was instrumental in securing a $544,000 grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to fund this project.
