ReTune Nashville is a benefit concert for uninsured musicians with the money being distributed through the Nashville Musicians Association Flood Relief Fund and MusiCares Nashville Flood Relief. This non-profit was started by Sheri O'Neal. She like every Nashvillian was haunted by the terrible images of the Nashville disaster in May. Where most people saw images of mud and debris, Sheri saw a guitar just laying on a pile of trash.

Everyone has seen the damage created from the May 1, 2010 floods in Nashville. It's been all over the television about Bellevue, Franklin, Pennington Bend and Downtown Nashville. Very few people have seen the up close areas that weren't mention repeatedly on the evening news.

This morning I finally ventured over to Bellevue to check on a vacant listing. There had been talk that condos in River Plantation had flooded. I was not prepared for what I saw. There was street after street with trucks lining them. The yards were full of debris pulled from the condominiums. Everything west of Sawyer Brown Road had been under water. When I turned onto the road I knew disaster was waiting for me.
