Tenative agreements have been reached for a 12 acre Solar farm to be built on 12 acres of James Campbell Co. land next to the Campbell Industrial Park. The energy production farm is to be built by a subsidiary of Hoku Scientific Inc., a Kapolei Company. I hope this becomes a harbringer of the future! If we have one resource with unlimited supply in Kapolei, it is sunshine. According to reports, the farm would be capable of generating 1.5 megawatts of photovoltaic power.
