What is a 'good deal'?
I thought I knew...but this current slump has had me questioning my own idea that 'good deals' are quality products at or below cost.
We do seem to be entering a new era. Cash will be king and price is ultimate.
I DO have some great deals out there: a $400,000 price reduction on a prime golf course estate in Pronghorn, a brand new house at $229,000 of outstanding quality and good location, and another Golf Course retreat for $900,000---appraised well above a million just 30 days ago. Bretagne, Breckenridge's model home, has been on the market finished since Tour of Homes, late July 2008. Many many realtors have come through the home and raved about its finishes, quality, and attention to detail. Buyers have come 'this close' to writing it up, full price, and yet --- something is making them balk. And its not just this home. I am seeing it everywhere. Politics has raised its ugly head and sent many folks into hybernation mode.
