home sellers: Home Staging Shows - What do home owners think?

I just previewed a home that has been on the market for over 1 year. The price has dropped over $100,000 during that time. I was invited by the Realtor to see if I could make some recommendation to the home owners for this 4000 ++ sq ft home. The homeowner must have watched a Home Staging Show using vignettes. Almost every room had a couple of pieces in one corner or another. Mirrors and artwork was hung so low that the top of the frame was below my eye level. There is so much more to Staging. Home Staging for 2007. Where will the new year take us? Right now, we are seeing many homes on the market. More home owners are requesting Home Staging to give them the advantage over other homes just like theirs on the market. Is Home Staging going to become a household name in the near future?
