homeless: AMAZING GRACE...

Just wanted to pass this touching story along from a musician... AMAZING GRACE... As a guitarist, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper’s cemetery in the back country. As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost. I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. Way back when... I was a Realtor, This is the one that got away. (From someone else) I arrived at the office on a Saturday morning, and parked in the farthest, DISTANT corner of the lot. (Leaving room for customers near the front of the office). As I exited my car I noticed a really bad smell. PHEW! There was a really beat up car parked near the front door of the office. The closer I got the more pungent the odor became. (I was really glad I skipped breakfast). The car was such a clunker, dented, paint peeling, dirty, donut … (27 comments)
