We were winners of a door prize at the RSPS Symposium this past March but we just received our prize.
We received phone calls from people that we networked with while we were there that we won a door prize but know one could tell us what we won.
We called the people who ran the symposium they called all vendors that had door prizes but know one again knew what we one.
Finally a person at Viscape was checking a pair of pants not long ago and found our business card in a pocket.

This question goes out to all mortgage companies that specialize in the vaction home sector.
I ran into a road block this past week.
I had 2 buyers looking to put down 10% and the way it was explained to me is that vaction home buyers need to put down a MINIMUM of 20% now. I know it is good practice to do so but this is the first time I lost 2 buyers because of this.
Can anyone give me some insite?

When I first became a REALTOR® I had to spend a two days in class and then we had a graduation. I paid an initial fee and every year after I have paid an annual fee. It was explainted to me this gives me the right to use the word REALTOR® and logo.
We pay all this money for all of our dues and continuing education and there are agents out there bucking the systems.
Buyers and sellers need to ask their agent are you a registered REALTOR®.

Who polices the designation logo's?
I remember when I received my designation I asked about the use of the logo and I was told by NAR only if you have the designation.
We pay all this money for designations and I see agents that do not have the designation using logo's.

We wanted to toot our horn.
Everyone seems to be crying the blues that the market is soooooooooooo bad.
Agents are going part time.
Agents are putting their license in escrow.
We disagree.
Rates are the lowest they have been and buys are everywhere.
2008 was a great year for us.
Our office had our 2008 awards banquet last week and this is what we received.
2nd in Sales Volume Closed Buyers Side
3rd Listings Volume Closed Sellers Side
1st Buyers Sales
1st Listings Taken
2nd Closed Units
In Addition Heather received Most Driven Award in our office of 72 agents.

Oddly enough Jeff was the photographer.
