first time homebuyers: How To Buy A Bank Owned Home - 10/13/09 10:27 AM
Through most of the last two years, buyer's agents have been bruised and battered by the high level of distressed inventory in the Las Vegas real estate market. How competitve is it? One REO agent I know sold 25 properties in March ... and those listings received over 650 offers!
This very funny conversation between a first-time buyer and an REO agent, written by San Diego Castles, pretty well sums up the REO buying experience. And if you'd like to make your own video, visit Xtranormal. Enjoy!!

first time homebuyers: Should The $8000 First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit Be Extended? - 07/26/09 02:30 PM
As it currently stands, the $8000 First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit applies to homes purchased before December 1, 2009. If we allow sixty days for escrow and whatever other issues arise from contract to close, that leaves just over two months for first-time buyers to find their dream home.
Has the credit made a positive impact in your local real estate market? Should the $8000 First-Time Buyer Tax Credit be extended? Please share your thoughts in the comments and use the links below to contact your Representative and Senator.

To find out what that change is and discover how you can connect with Generation Y homebuyers, read the full post from Matthew Ferrara & Company.
