I recently decided to get another dog & instead of going through a breeder or pet store I decided to look into adopting a dog from a shelter. I figured that after several months since my oldest yorkie Harley passed away my younger yorkie Megan could use a new companion. I discovered the process for adopting a dog from a shelter is a lot like buying a house.
