Do any of you have backup email accounts?
I do and I will tell you why.
Last week for some reason a report that I was sending to a mortgage company would not go through.
Lucky I was able to send the report from my regular email to my Blackberry account and forward it to the mortgage company.
Time was of the essence in this case becuase it needed to close that day.
I do not know why the first email did not go through but I was glad to have a backup. Maybe some type of spam protection.

Sounds like a hate article on Home Inspectors, and I am one, but I always like to learn so that I can improve myself.
Start with telling me if your state has regulations regarding Home Inspectors. I think that I know how this will play out but still whould like your input.

•1.   RBO
•2.   RPE
•3.   RBI

•6.   MHI
•7.   ESI

When building a new home the most important inspection that you can have performed is a footer inspection.
If not performed quickly enough the footer can be hidden by the backfill and the basement floor.
That is why I like to inspect the footer rather than waiting to do a foundation inspection.
Here is what a footer depth should be. Assuming a 8" thick wall.
