Sustainability--Our local newspaper editor asked for my thoughts on why Ashtabula County would be a good place to launch this type of lifestyle. Here's what I came up with: Ashtabula is a great place to launch a sustainable lifestyle . Medium to larger tracts of land necessary to get started -generally ( 10-50 acres or more, with or without a home)-are still plentiful and affordable relative to the surrounding counties. There are multiple city bases w/in an hour and a half-often considered a reasonable commute--where one spouse can continue to work while the the family is establishing their sustainability-Cleveland, Youngstown, Warren … (2 comments)
