henderson: Don't let the cover fool you! - 01/14/09 11:29 AM

Will you be the prince/princess that kisses this property and turns it into a beauty?  This investment property is priced to sell at just $25,000.  Sellers are motivated and just waiting for the right offer.  This home features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and would make a great rental property.  A detached 2 car garage with a small workshop area completes this investment special.  Want a truly unique feature?  Well, here it is:  the back ½ of this property is a single-wide trailer circa 1968, making it one-of-a-kind.  Even though it needs some work, this property … (0 comments)

henderson: New Business in Henderson, Kentucky - 01/14/09 04:10 AM

As part of the PR committee with my local Board of Realtors, I get to go to Ribbon Cuttings for new businesses in the community.  I recently had the pleasure of attending the Ribbon Cutting at Cancun Mexican Restaurant on Green Street in Henderson, Kentucky.

After the official cutting was done and pictures taken, we were treated to a sampling of the restaurant's menu.  Cancun's was starting to get very busy with the lunch crowd, but they were seating people quickly and drinks were arriving at the tables promptly.  I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and … (0 comments)

henderson: 2008 Henderson Christmas Parade - 12/09/08 12:42 PM
The annual Henderson Christmas parade has come and gone.  This was my first and hopefully, not my last.  As a team, the RE/MAX associates at RE/MAX Superior, REALTORS came up with a theme in late November:  Homes for the Holidays.  Now, I've never been a part of a float creation team before.  I wasn't one of the elite at my high school that was asked to participate in building the class float or being in the parade.  Needless to say, I was REALLY excited about this project!  We are extremely lucky that Kelly Estes, the better half of one of our REALTORS, is … (0 comments)

henderson: The Big Weed - Life Lesson From My Dogs! - 11/19/08 11:33 PM
As I sat out on my deck this morning drinking my coffee and going over my To Do List, I learned a lesson.  My 4 "kids" were outside in the backyard playing as they do every morning.  I sat watching them enjoy the morning, carefree and focused on the moment.  The oldest decided that it would be more fun to pull a weed out of the ground.  The 2 youngest came over and also grabbed the very large weed and started pulling.  With all 3 pulling and tugging it would not come out of the ground.  The youngest stopped pulling, looked … (8 comments)
