Thinking of Moving to East Abbotsford? Abbotsford has grown tremendously as a city! Understandably so as it is a wonderful place to live, with great schools, and an abundance of parks and recreation! Several new subdivisions have come on the market in East Abbotsford over the last 5 years. And with the completion of the long awaited Whatcom Road extension in East Abbotsford, connecting McKee Road and sub areas like Sandy Hill, the Highlands, Auguston, Ledgeview Estates, Golf Course Drive, and Kensington to Highway #1 Access via Whatcom Road, residents are finding the new Thrifty Foods and soon to come Save-On-Foods … (2 comments)

We have really enjoyed a few days of sun in the Lower Mainland over the last week. The days where the sun has come out have been few and far between. My husband is from New Zealand and we lived in Wellington, NZ for almost eight years. One of the biggest differences is how our fellow Canadians will take advantage of each and every sunny day and weekend, as they are few and far between. When you think about it, there may be as little as 8-12 beautiful weekends this year that we can really take advantage of.
