About Oct 2011, we started feeding 2 Sandhill Cranes and around January, only the male started coming around and we thought the worst as some do get killed by cars around here.
And knowing that these creatures mate for life, we kept feeding "Charlie" knowing he would not mate again.
Little did we know until today, "Charlie" was anything but single.

Excellent post from my friend, Barbara Jo.
When Buying WATERFRONT property here in Port St Lucie, there are many canals here that you cannot get your boat off the lift at low tide so you have time when to launch.
There are also canals that do connect to the ocean but they have non navigational locks that only spill water but no boats can pass and this is very deceiving to the non resident buying WATERFRONT property over the internet.

In game 1, the New Jersey Devils came out blasting and shot 26 shots in the first period and took a 3 goal to 0 lead in the first. Then they went to sleep.
The Panthers managed to come back with 2 goals, but fell short getting the job done and gave up game 1, 3-2.
But the important part of this is New Jersey scored nothing for periods 2 or 3.
THen we come to Game 2, tonight.
