The 1st session of the 2010-2011 GBBR Rookie REALTOR® Society: GRRS will be held on Thursday, November 18th at 9:30 am, 1306 Bellona Avenue Timonium, MD 21093. We will have the pleasure of Celeste Filoia, Legal Counsel from MAR and Carolyn Cook, GBBR's Deputy Executive Vice President to highlight MD's newly enacted Real Estate Laws and our Contract Changes, effective October 1, 2010. No matter how long one has been in the business, this topic should be of the utmost concern to current practitioners who want to stay on the good side of the law and in compliance with regulations. gbbr: To Be or Not To Be, Open that is...

There is a great debate in the Real Estate community over this question, but yesterday, we were not debating it, but enjoying it! REALTOR.com wanted to document a veteran agent who is masterful in her marketing and who knows how to attract a crowd. Margaret Rome, one of the Queens of Active Rain, held 2 Open Houses on Sunday and Monday, in order to show them how its done. Folks came from far and wide to support Margaret and broaden the base of information REALTOR.com was able to gather. Thank you "Techno Diva" Marney Kirk, for putting together this CE Class for GBBR on Technology, Social Media/Networking, Web 2.0 and beyond! We have learned much from "Social Networking Diva" Margaret Rome and you have added so much more valuable information. It was so well worth my time, money and energy to attend. Active Rain, Facebook, Linked In and Twitter are things that I will definitely be looking into building up even more than I already have.
