homes for sale germantown wi: Buyers ask the darndest things.... - 02/28/11 03:25 AM
So there was this out of town buyer who stopped to get a bite to eat a local Burger King in a town called Oconomowoc, WI and everywhere we stopped prior to this (like Menomonee Falls, Nashota or Mukwonago) he had to ask someone how to pronounce the name of the town we were now in because he was always being corrected by someone.
So there he was standing in line to order his food and suddenly he asks the cashier this question, " Can you please tell me where I am and say it very slowly so I can understand it, to … (9 comments)

Are you buying a home in Germantown Wisconsin, then look out for other buyers
An interesting thing has happened to me this last week. I've gotten a ton of calls on one of my homes for sale. Ordinarily this wouldn't be such a big deal because I want calls on my homes for sale so then why is this such a big deal?
First of all, there is an accepted offer on the home, so for all practical purposes, it's sold. But more importantly, it tells me that there are buyer's out there, lots of buyers! Could this mean that our market … (0 comments)

Carpe Diem: Seize the Day
Learn as much as you can about as many things as possible A winner never quits and a quitter never wins.

Now that many are contemplating entering the market place it will be important to understand what is happening in our real estate market. Below is the statistical data for Germantown WI as it pertains to single family homes sold in 2010 vs 2009. Although the numbers don't look as good as they have in years past as we've lost over 10.4% of value since 2007 there is some optimism detailed in the most resent sales.
According to our local MLS (Multiple Listing Service) the average sale price went up in Germantown from 2009 just over 2%. … (0 comments)

homes for sale germantown wi: Selling your home in Wisconsin in 2011, you'll need one these! - 12/29/10 09:55 AM
Although no likes more laws and big brother telling us what to do, this one acutally will do some good but may cause some slight issues when selling your home if you don't have one as the new law requires one detector on each level of your home.
This year in  March of 2010, Governor Doyle signed into a law Senate Bill 415, legislation that will require all homes to have carbon monoxide detectors beginning on February 1, 2011. Carbon monoxide is a dangerous, poisonous gas, which cannot be detected by human senses. Dubbed the "silent killer," carbon monoxide claims more than … (0 comments)

What the heck are you talking about? Ok what is it that makes your neck of the woods different than mine? What is the sale pitch and what would you miss?
We have 4 time zones in our country and every state is different, every region in those state are different and every town is different. Like Cindy Westfall  asked in her Blog http://you-say-potato-i-say-pototto-tomato-tamatto- what make's your place different?
