Here in Sterling, Illinois, we were involved in the ice storm that swept through the middle portion of the country, from Oklahoma, to Wisconsin. Lucky for me that no one called wanting to look at houses for the last couple of days. But that didn't mean that I didn't have to work. I have a foreclosed property listed, and several others that are vacant that I have to check on to make sure that they are ready to show. This is one of my pet peeves, HOMES NOT PREPARED TO SHOW!!! LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW Winter... and Snow..., finally showed up in my Northwestern corner of Illinois. I knew that it would only be a matter of time until it happened, we had been very lucky so for. Just three days earlier, it was still fairly nice. Temperatures were still in the high thirties, and sunny. Thursday it snowed, now we now have about four inches of snow, and the temps. are in the single digits... Brrrrr!!!!! There is something about a new snow fall that makes everything seem so new and fresh, like no one has set foot … (27 comments)
