Foreclosure effects a lot more than just the home owner.  
Last week we received a call from a luxury home builder in Las Vegas. Apparently, one of the homes in the subdivision that he built went into foreclosure. The resident that had lived there had six dogs originally. When she moved out (after letting the place fall apart), she took all of the little dogs with her and left Milo in the backyard. Last night we went to see one of our favorite comedians, Lewis Black. He is on his Red, White and Screwed tour and is appearing at the MGM Grand in the Hollywood Theater. We ended up with some great seats, 3rd row just off the center of the stage. Sometimes, we as professionals, forget the things that are really important---family and friends. You get busy with dealing with the thousands of details and before you know it, your day has been consumed.
Today I had to put down my Corgi, Edward.  I got him from a Humane Society auction in 1996.  He was a sweet and loyal companion for the last ten years.
