home buyer: Gray Manor, Dundalk, Maryland 21222-Great Single Family Homes - 04/08/08 06:32 AM
Many first time home buyers in the Baltimore, Maryland area think that they must start in a row home or townhouse because the single family home is just out of reach. I am here to say that is just NOT TRUE! There are some great neighborhoods in Dundalk, 21222 that are filled with single family homes that are affordable to the first time home buyer.
Gray Manor is one of those neighborhoods-very diverse in style and size of home as well as price. I have helped several first time buyers find wonderful single family homes in this neighborhood.

home buyer: Dundalk, Baltimore County 21222-Real Estate 1st qtr - 04/06/08 01:35 AM
Isn't it hard to believe that it is April already? It seems as I get older that time starts to move at a much faster pace, giving me less time to do some of the things I wanted to do. It also means that I must make quicker decisions when opportunities present themselves.
Dundalk is presenting some great opportunities for the first time homebuyer AND the investor who utilizes a buy & hold strategy. Lets take a look at market performance in the 1st qtr of 2008.
SOLD listings in Dundalk (21222) numbered 83 (actual closed sales in qtr) with a range … (0 comments)

home buyer: Baltimore Maryland Housing Market-Baltimore Sun Feb 9, 2008 - 02/10/08 08:48 AM
Did you catch todays article in the Baltimore Sun about the horrendous real estate market in the Baltimore, MD area?
For Sale, For less By Jamie Smith Hopkins (Sun Reporter) Normally I believe Ms Hopkins to be on the mark but it seems in this article she is buying into all of the negative hype that I think is distorted in the media today. I cannot, of course, disagree with her figures as numbers don't lie-it is the interpretation of those numbers that I take offense. Let me state again that I have been interviewed by Ms Hopkins in the past and … (2 comments)

home buyer: Life this week-Couldn't we just ease into it? - 03/31/07 03:58 PM

Well I know, for me, from reading on Active Rain and talking to Realtors from all over the Country-This has been a tough winter. It seems that about the middle of December of 2006 someone turned of the Real Estate light switch.
Things slowed down in Baltimore as well. Before November I was averaging a close every 2 weeks with a peak in July of closing  3 per week. This may not seem like much to most of you-but you have to keep in mind that this was my FIRST year licensed in Maryland. (Karen Hurst I wish I read your New Agent blog when I … (8 comments)

home buyer: Offer on FSBO-an ebay mentality - 03/25/07 01:56 AM
Dear Home Seller,
Congratulations! I know you have worked hard all of your life and are finally going to move to your dream home and sell this home. I really like this home and would be very interested in making an offer. I am so glad that you decided to sell your home yourself (FSBO) so we don't have to deal with those pesky Realtors!
I see that your home is very comparable to the other homes in the neighborhood that are for sale and you are priced about the same as they are. But they are wasting their money on Realtors which we don't … (0 comments)

home buyer: Essex,21221, Highlandtown, 21224, Home Buyer's Opportunity - 02/27/07 10:12 PM
What a great time it is for Home Buyer's to be looking along the Eastern Avenue corrider from Highlandtown out through Essex!
Everyone has read the stories the last few montha about the real estate market and how it has changed-sales slowing, prices dropping while maintaining the low interest rates. This has brought about a very unique situation that, I believe, has not been seen in the Maryland Market.
First and second time home buyers can now have the opportunity to get a new home, at a great price with low interest rates. The time could not be better for buyers. … (0 comments)
