make a difference: You Can Make A Difference........

There are times in this world that stepping up to the plate and doing the right thing is good. Times like these you can really make a difference in someone's life. You also get the side effect of really feeling great, a sense of accomplishment. Then you have the other times. The times when you maybe should've just left well enough alone. Once upon a time....... A Kansas cowboy appeared before St. Peter at the Pearly Gates."Have you ever done anything of particular merit?" St. Peterasked."Well, I can think of one thing," the cowboy offered. "Once, on atrip to the Black Hills out in South Dakota, I came upon a gang ofbikers, who were threatening a young woman. I directed them to leaveher alone, but they wouldn't listen. So, I approached the largest andmost heavily tattooed biker and smacked him in his face, kicked his bikeover, ripped out his nose ring, and threw it on the ground. I yelled,"Now, back off!! Or I'll kick the #$%$)@ out of all of you!" St. Peter was impressed, "When did this happen?" "Just a couple minutes ago..."
At a specific time this afternoon, it will be 1:11:11 1-11-11.
