It's been nearly 40 years since the first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970. Founded by Senator Gaylord Nelson, it was established as a time for communities the world over, to recognize our deeper responsibility by minding our ways in caring for our natural resources. It was intended as a global reminder that The Earth is, essentially, our home... so let's all pitch in and do our part to promote clean and economical uses of energy and preserve our irreplaceable, natural resources. The sun is setting on this ST PATRICK'S DAY. It began with the making of traditional Irish Soda Bread and bringing it to the office along with some Irish Breakfast Tea. My recipe for the Irish soda bread tastes like a creamy, caraway scone...real butter is encouraged, and the tea was the perfect beverage that hour of the day.
The traditional Irish Blessing is offered with the bread.

A SNOWFALL is a rare occurance in this part of the south. Being a native northerner, it was like waking up to a surprise holiday with beautiful, snowy views of Auburn-Opelika. I headed out with my camera at 6:30 a.m. to take in the magic of A WINTER DAY in Auburn!

A few weeks ago, surfing the Active Rain net, I landed in Hawaii, reading Randy Prothero's blog post: SO YOU WANT TO BE A REAL ESTATE AGENT.  He references Margaret Rome and recommends and links to an order form for her newly published book: Real Estate The Right Rome Way.
I was excited to order the new book, clicked the link and an order form opened up. I filled in the usual blanks, and was then asked if I would like an autographed copy or not. (WHAT? Are you kidding?! This is a question?) And my thoughts simply wandered away...
