Let's face it times are tough and some Volusia County children will not have the basics they need to have a very happy and productive school year. Let's just forget about school for a minute and think about the lives these same poverty stricken children lead as they go without undergarments, proper nutrition and things so many people take for granted such as toothpaste, deodorant and 3 squares a day. As an active member of the Daytona Beach Area Assocation of REALTORS or better known as DBAAR, I thought I would share some very important information. 2009 is the year to participate...in your education...your careers and in your community. A recent post of gathering statistics made me look into our MLS..it's interesting and something I clearly do not understand.... Why agents do not track and make sure they get credit for their sales. You worked the transaction and probably worked darn hard! Most MLS systems have the capability to plug in the cooperating brokers info...to ensure they get credit for the participation in the sale. Ever wonder why your stats are incorrect? In some instances...the listing office takes credit for it or it shows up as non member selling the property. Has this ever happened to you? Lysa and I will be at the Board of Realtors today holding an Internet Marketing training this after noon at 2 pm. Realtor style....that's right ez tips....on Social Networking. Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors Technology Fair will be June 1st. If you are planning to attend, I hope to see you there, and you will!
