We're through the holiday's, the family has started to get back in the groove of the daily hustle of things and things are starting to settle down again.
So why would now be the time to think about selling your home? In the Middle of the school year?! Really?
 
Yes Really, and there are TWO main reasons for this!

Everyone keeps saying how the market is great and it's time to sell. Wondering WHY though?
 
There are TWO main reasons

#1-Inventory levels
There is a very limited amount of inventory in the Portland Metro Area. As a general rule of thumb, anything under 4 is considered a "seller's market" and anything above 6 is considered a "buyer's market".  4-6 is considered a "normal market".  This number simply means how many months it would take to run out of homes for sale if no new homes were listed.

As a home seller, it is so important for you to know what our Real Estate market is like right now. Our inventory levels have dropped down to a 3.2, which may not mean much to you, but what you should know about that is that anything under a 4 is considered a "seller's market".
