Broadway Lake Broadway Lake is a 300 acre lake on Broadway Creek in Anderson County in Upstate South Carolina. It is a small lake, not really the lake for a cigarette boat like Hartwell Lake but it is quiet and the water levels are usually higher. You can find Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass and if you believe the news stories that ran in the summer of 2008 there was a gator! On a hot day like today, who wouldn't like to be enjoying the cool mountain breezes from the Highest Point in South Carolina? Or maybe you would prefer cooling off in one of the many lakes we have in Upstate SC? It might be hard to decide which one! There is Broadway Lake, Lake Secession, Hartwell Lake, Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee. But there are also the great places such as Table Rock State Park that would be a great way to spend the day.
