activerain: Happy New Year 2011 - 01/02/11 02:22 AM
To all of my friends here on ActiveRain, I wish you a very Happy New Year!
I haven't been on here as much as in the past, as I have been focusing on family & health issues, and my personal outside blog.
My goal for 2011 is to write more often here, visit more blogs, and comment more often. I need to reconnect with my AR family! I always learn so much from so many of you, and I miss that knowledge, learning, and friendship!
Thank you for your understanding in my lack of participation here, and I look forward to … (8 comments)

activerain: Good Times - 09/29/09 01:41 AM
I have re-blogged two posts recently, one, because I really want to help @rerockstar get to REBlogworld, the other because JL Booney said JUST want I was thinking!
I prefer to blog my own thoughts, but I have been lucky enough to have gotten one listing yesterday, got a call that I beat out 3 other agents to get another one being signed today, and a third one to be listed tomorrow. I am excited as one is in Towson, one in Hunt Valley, one in Dundalk -- all over the board!
Add onto that the marketing that I do and … (8 comments)

activerain: Teaching Social Media Networking at GBBR Tomorrow -- ActiveRain is a MUST DO in my Course! - 09/23/09 01:03 PM
I am excited to teach at the local Board of Realtors (GBBR) tomorrow. Last time I taught, it was a great success -- the class reviews were 98.5% out of 100% that they liked the class and found it effective!
I am a bit nervous because the flyer distributed by the board had incorrect information -- calling the course "How to Sell Your Listings Using Technology." Though I *could* teach that course, I haven't written it, nor is it the topic. I am just hoping not to disappoint.
The actual course is "How to Use Social Media Networking to Boost Your … (12 comments)

activerain: Oh Active Rain, How I Have Missed You - 08/25/09 01:25 AM
It's been a little while since I have really spent time on here. It wasn't intentional. And no, AR, it wasn't you, it was me.
We get caught up in our buyer and seller meetings, negotiations, and additionally in my case, illness, kiddo, vacation, my outside blog & website, and then the Real Estate Barcamp that is coming up in a few weeks.
But then, there is that draw. I get sucked back in right away.
Why?
There are SO many people on here with SO much knowledge, and they are willing to share. I learn so much every time I am … (15 comments)

activerain: Thank you AR For My Birthday Gift - 06/10/09 01:43 AM
So yesterday was a wonderful day. I have amazing friends both IRL and virtual!
I wrote a post on how I love ActiveRain. All of a sudden, I was getting emails about comments.
"That's unusual," I thought, "I usually only get a few." So I went back to the home page, and imagine my surprise : FEATURED at the top of the screen!
What a GREAT gift!
THANK YOU, ACTIVERAIN AND FELLOW 'RAINERS. You made for a terrific day!

activerain: Love the 'Rain - 06/09/09 01:30 AM
I LOVE Active Rain. There. I said it.
It took awhile for me to get into it, because I didn't truly understand it. Why would I want to blog here? Why comment on other agents' posts?
So for those who don't understand, this is what it is "about":
1) I learn something new EVERY DAY. I have been an agent for almost 11 years but have been sheltered in my area for the most part. There are so many professionals on here sharing their stories and their keys to success, there is NO reason NOT to be on here.
2) The … (55 comments)

activerain: Wonderful Family Here in ActiveRain - 05/21/09 01:13 PM
First, let me start, with my father's surgery was a success and the doctors feel very strongly that they have removed all of the cancer. THANK YOU for all of your thoughts and prayers. He is 6 organs/insides lighter, and will have much life adjustment, but he is optimistic, and looks WONDERFUL.
I was amazed, pleased, and overwhelmed at the outpouring of love that I received from many of your here on AR. I truly believe the thoughts & prayers out there helped him through the surgery and will help him in his long road of recovery.
We may drift away … (12 comments)

activerain: Life and Perspective in the Real Estate World - 05/17/09 01:05 AM
There are two ActiveRain bloggers whose blog posts I always enjoy.
Why? They consistently make you laugh, snort, and, well, look inside yourself to see if you are doing these things.
They make you look at life and your outlook in life.
Are you the whiner? Are you the complainer? Are you doing WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO GET THINGS DONE? We have no one to blame for our business or our behavior except ourselves, and yes, we need to be reminded of these facts.
So who are these super bloggers?
First is Steve Shatsky. Here is the link to his … (6 comments)
