local: Breakfast with the Bob in Big Rapids, MI

Probably my favorite place for breakfast in Big Rapids would be our local Bob Evans restaurant. It is always nice to go to a place that not only knows you but makes you feel special every visit. My wife and I have breakfast there every Friday ad are impressed with each visit. This morning they were mentioning a new program Bob Evans is doing where you can buy a full dinner for 8 for under $75.00 and donate it to a local family they may not have a Thanksgiving dinner any other way. Not only makes for a great post but it gives everyone a taste of your area. Snyder's Market in Big Rapids As part of a localism campaign to help people become acquainted with Big Rapids we have to include Snyder's Market. You will find the owner, Kraig Snyder, there most everyday working on what's for dinner. They have an all star line up on the lunch with some of my favorites being the Pulled Pork, BBQ brisket, Philly Cheese Steak and Prime Rib sandwiches or you can order by the pound for that family event or picnic. Mecosta County Band of Locals Seems like everywhere you go these days there is a strong push to buy local. Here in Big Rapids and Mecosta County we have the Band of Locals Campaign. It truly amazes me how many discounts are available through the Band of Locals. Lake and Lodge Realty is a member as I do always try to buy local first.
