It is with great sadness that I announce the unfortunate closing of RE/MAX LEGENDARY HOMES. I would like to thank Gene Ryan for all of his hard work and time that he took away from his personal business to try and assist me with reaching my own personal goals. SOUTH AMBOY -The South Amboy Redevelopment Agency has taken a step toward funding the city's proposed aquatic community center. At their last meeting, agency members approved issuing tax-exempt bonds of up to $8 million to finance the project. The 40,000-square-foot center will be at Broadway and Portia Street on what is currently a vacant lot. The plot is owned by Peron Development, which is donating part of the property for the center and plans to use the remainder to develop residential units. Just to discount anyone who thought the market was down, many of my South Amboy listings are getting a lot of showings. This trend has been going on since the beginning of September and a few of my properties have received multiple offers since that time. Traditionally most seller believe that their homes sales price versus its list price should differ by about 10%. Consquently, in today's market a home seller should not be using yesterday's market advice. It has been proven that a home that is priced very close to the comparable value will probably fetch a higher price than a home that is "traditinally" priced.
