I went out on a listing appointment today. (I change the names, cities,dates, and prices on these stories) The client had his Commerce Township home listed last year at $365,000. It did not sell all last year. They did have a few offers but the deals fell through. The piece of Commerce real estate was priced at the very top of the price range but the home did not have top end features. In fact the Commerce home had an old worn out kitchen. Why aren’t there as many Wolverine Lake foreclosures as there were a couple of years ago. The reason why Wolverine Lake foreclosures have gone down is because many Wolverine Lake homes are being sold as short sales and at the sheriff sales. So less Wolverine Lake foreclosures means that you will have to see these Wolverine Lake foreclosures when they hit the market. Sometimes they are sold in a day or two when they hit the market.
