The fastest, meanest and most famous attraction at Kings Island turns 30 this year. The Beast was opened in 1979 and reaches a top speed of nearly 65 miles per hour at the bottom of the third hill. With more than 7300 feet of track the ride covers nearly 35 acres and offers an astounding four minute, 50 second ride you will never forget. Since the coaster's opening, it has accommodated 1200 riders per hour with a total ridership of more than 40,999,000 riders.
