Tuesday at 820am "Ice-Out" Was declared on Lake Winnipesuakee which signifies the onset of Summer travel, boating , fishing and tourism season. The official "ice out is declared when the M/S Mount Washington Cruise Ship can navigate between all it's ports of calls including Meredith, Alton Bay, Center Harbor, Weirs Beach and Wolfeboro.Each one has one of my favorite Ice Cream Shops..... In case you wanted to know...For me it seems late this year especially remembering ice out was March 24 last year.
