When you watch my video of custom homes of the Las Vegas Valley, Mission Hills may not sound familiar. It's not one of the many well known or advertised Master Planned Communities, but yet it provides a popular lifestyle option.
Mission Hills is one of several not so rural, rural style neighborhoods found around the area, with some that are much closer to the central core than you might expect. The reason being that at one time they were on the 'outskirts of town', but the valley's amazing growth of the past few decades has often surrounded them.
