I did a recent blog and slideshow on the amazing new color changing Eastside Cannery set to open later this month. It's on the Boulder Strip corridor, and it's not the only new construction in that area. eastside cannery: Eastside Cannery - Las Vegas Colors Up!

Eastside Cannery is coming soon and is responsible for 800 jobs here in the valley. It's set to open Aug. 28, 2008, but it's already adding some excitement to the Las Vegas skyline. During the day the $250 million complex's 16 story sawtooth topped tower is clad in bronze and white with glass and steel. At night the building colors up the Boulder Strip as it morphs from every shade of the rainbow.
