I just did a quick search last night, and I found more than 10 short sales or pre foreclosure listings in the Saint Pete beach, Treasure Island and Madeira beach area that are direct beach front. A lot of people think that the waterfront homes and condos here in Saint Petersburg are not affected by this market situation, well, wrong. It happens again and again and again, we get a new short sale listing in Saint Petersburg, we price it according to the "traditional comps", we get no showing, no calls, no offers.
