http://www.thejoyfest.com/ Gospel singing stars Vanessa bell Armstrong and Tye Tribett will perform free concerts during the JoyFest celebration, happening through Sunday on the Kresge green space on Market Avenue N. between 3rd & 4Th St. The Heart of downtown Canton Armstrong will appear at 8p.m. today, and Tribett at 8p.m. Saturday. Downtown http://www.cityofcanton.com/ Gets the Blues! The Canton Blues Festival returns to downtown Canton today and tomorrow, with a full lineup of local, regional and national performers. The festival is presented by the http://www.cantonchamber.org/. The entertainment schedule follows: Saturday 1pm: Blues in School band. 2:30pm : soul satyr. 4:30pm: Wallace Coleman. 6:30pm: Jeff Poulos Blues revue. 8:30pm: The Fabulous Thunderbirds. The fun starts at 1pm Saturday with live music until 10:30. The location is Market Avenue N between Third and Fourth streets. Admission is free. Bird watching at McKinley Museum The Wm McKinley Presidential Library and Museum is celebrating International Migratory Bird Day Saturday May 10th, with bird watching and other activities. A bird walk takes place at 9am family activities take place from 11am to 3pm All activities are free with museum admission Stark Parks is sponsoring the annual Richard Fry Memorial Catfish Derby Saturday May 10th. Large catfish are stocked into Petros Lake Park.
