Lakewood Ranch Main Street is preparing to welcome a new restaurant, Nancy's B-B-Q. Owner Nancy Krohngold has signed a lease for a 1,500 square foot space, though not as large as she had originally planned. Her first choice was in Sarasota closer to the new mall but those plans fell through when Benderson Development decided not to build the proposed outparcel.  Nancy's BBQ has something of a cult following in her native North Carolina and this will be the first BBQ restaurant to open in Lakewood Ranch.
