Merry Christmas everyone! We are enjoying our time in Argentina! We are very grateful for this experience! This past week we spent a wonderful time in Mendoza where we tried some of the best wines! and now we are back to Buenos Aires and looking forward to spending Christmas with our Argentinian family! Since we are staying home the whole day we are treating ourselves with lots of food and desserts. LOL We decided to make vegan nice cream and it was DELICIOUS! See below recipe we used in case you want to give it a try :)  - 1 cup of Pineapple - 1 cup of Mango - 1 cup of strawberries - 1/2 cup of blueberries - 1/2 cup of blackberries - 1/2 can of coconut milk - 1/4 cup of dates sugar  - Mix it all together on a high speed blender - Stick it in the freezer for 2 hours - Use vegan sugar cones - you find these on any whole food store. - Or serve it in … (16 comments)

According to the National Day Calendar today is National Strawberry Ice Cream Day!  Each year, National Strawberry Ice Cream Day on January 15th celebrates one of the choicest flavors of ice cream. All flavors of ice cream are recognized on July 1st. Strawberry ice cream is made by blending either strawberries or strawberry flavoring with eggs, cream, vanilla, and sugar.   Per the National Day Calendar today is: NATIONAL DRINK WINE DAY While February 18 is observed annually as National Drink Wine Day, it would be a shame to celebrate only one day a year.  Perhaps this day is just a reminder to drink wine. Wine does have its benefits after all.  Moderate drinkers of wine have lower risks of liver disease, type II diabetes, certain kinds of cancers, heart attack and stroke.  It also can reduce the bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase the good (HDL).
