home: Thinking about buying a bank owned vacation home in Davenport, Florida?

This spring I spent some time with a great couple from out of state looking for a good deal on a vacation home in Davenport, Florida. After spending a day or two looking at repossessed homes, listening to the dead batteries beeping in the smoke alarms, viewing homes without air conditioning ( which I tell you, it gets very warm on the second floor), and viewing many pools that reminded me alot of a giant bowls of overcooked pea soup.
Some were just needing a good cleaning and paint, some needed new flooring, most needed appliances, some needed doors, toilet seats, outlet covers, pool pumps. … (0 comments)
