Buyers Are Missing The Foreclosure Bubble - Springfield Mo Foreclosures Over the past few years, the Springfield Missouri real estate market has been saturated with foreclosures.  In the middle of this foreclosure crisis, there's good news.

 The number of foreclosures have dropped significantly since 2009. 
Many of the foreclosures in 2009 was attributed to local real estate scams, forcing many homeowners to lose their Greene county real estate.
I can not track the number of short sales, but I do attribute the drop in foreclosures for 2011 to homeowners aggressively pursuing short sales.

Avoid Springfield Mo Foreclosure Surprises Just when I thought I'd seen everything, I recently placed a Fannie Mae home under contract with an occupied tenant. Uncooperative throughout the entire transaction, the tenant finally moved, leaving the home intact, but cluttered with debris.  I was quite sure that Fannie Mae would order a trashout of the property, but I wasn't going to assume anything.

Most everyone knows that HUD changed their way of closing homes this past year.  Now there are several companies that are servicing foreclosures for HUD....one of these servicing companies is charging to extend contracts.
