So, the Pompano Beach City Commissioners just signed an agreement to give Broward County property to build a new Library. It's an $11.5 million project and this Library will replace the one that's currently located at 1213 E. Atlantic Blvd. The construction has been approved and now Broward County must approve the land agreement that was passed by the City of Pompano Beach. Construction will be scheduled once the design phase is finished and the project is put out to bid.
