I have a presentation tomorrow...everything is good to go BUT...

I think I'm getting the jitters for some reason. I have all of my print and digital media, along with relevant information separated into individual folders for everyone in the office. My promo video is on a DVD ready to be played and my sample tours are all grouped together on my site. I have my presentation down, yet I still have the jitters as if I am missing something. I've done this countless times and have gotten over my stage fright some time ago. Is this a result of the uncertain economy? Am I losing my steam? Am I overanalyzing all of this? I would love to hear some feedback from my proposed audience. If you were having a meeting and had a guest speaker that was to go over photography, virtual tour and graphic design services, what would you be most interested in hearing? What would bore you to tears? Would you be at all interested in any of his/her products?

Cant wait to hear what you have to say!

Thanks,

James

You should always assume that all of your presentation materials flew out of your window on the way to the presentation.  Could you still do the presentation with the same flavor?  You should.  Never ever let your presentation be a crutch.  They are buying you, not the presentation.  The presentation is just an added touch of professionalism and backs what you say.....  You should be able to be just as effective without any material and send the material later.  If you have a listing that you are not so keen about getting, try doing the presentation without any paperwork.   Just tell them that you had an appointment that ran over and could not make it back to the office to pick it up. You should have all the numbers in your head....and the client will be blown away with your knowledge.  Just remember never to have a crutch.
