How many of us Real Estate agents need to remind ourselves to breathe? Not to take ourselves so seriously. I don't know about the rest of the agents out there but what I can tell you is my office is so much fun. We are all very professional and work very long hours promoting our business and working for our clients. It sometimes gets to the point of just plain silliness.,it has to be.. If not we would all be on the streets homeless or in the psych ward.
The insanity is just the way our Las Vegas market is with all the foreclosures and short sales. The banks have held out on releasing many homes for sale to try to get the inventory down which is great but now we have bidding wars going on. Yes, bidding wars in a Las Vegas crisis home market.. Before showing a property I will call the listing agent to see how many offers they have in on the home. Most of the time there are multiple. When I say multiple I mean over 11 or so
I do believe that in late April the banks will release more homes and perhaps we will have more choices again. We went through the multiple offer situation years ago when the inventory was so low it was around 1200 homes in the complete Las Vegas Valley for sale. Now we have an estimated 22k homes for sale and again have bidding wars. Who would have thought this would happen...
